Mr. Moresi has over 37 years experience in the management of natural resources. His experience includes ten years with three Water Management Districts, and 27 years as a consultant. During that time, he has developed an extensive administrative record ranging from directing regulatory programs to manager of a state wide technical program in seven offices. Additional experience includes expert witness testimony in water resources issues, requiring excellent technical and communication skills. His responsible project experience has included multiple county studies; design and implementation of geologic and well construction projects, hydrogeologic assessments, city master plans; water, wastewater, and solid waste studies; regional regulatory implementation; multi-discipline coordination; public presentations; and conflict resolution.
Mr. Moresi’s technical project experience concentrated in study, development, and management of natural resources. Areas of expertise include water supply development, regional water management, spring protection, wellfield management, ecological preservation, well design and construction, surface water protection, drainage, regulatory issues, geotechnical applications, contamination prevention, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This technical experience required the method application, data collection, result interpretation, and conclusion presentation of various types of data. His background includes knowledge of federal and local regulatory programs, rule development and interpretation, and rule enforcement. Mr. Moresi has conducted studies using multiple data collection techniques to assess aquifer recharge, groundwater withdrawal impacts, geologic stability, and aquifer characteristics.
